I’ve started working with Sulia, sharing my favorite finds throughout the week. Would you arrange your books by color? How about throwing a Queen of Hearts Valentine’s Day party? Check it.
I like to share a lot of non-design links here on Fridays, but the Sulia posts I share throughout the week via social media will be pretty heavily design and DIY focused.

February 14, 2014 at 6:31 pmAs someone who has a black and white tile floor in the kitchen let me shout, DON’T DO IT! It looks fabulous in magazines and probably terrific in hotel lobbies but unless you have a staff to clean it, you will need to wash it every day. My sister has said she’s never seen the floor clean, even after I’ve washed it just before she comes over. They told me so at the tile store, but I was so set on it. Regrets.

February 15, 2014 at 3:20 pmGreat link round-up! I especially enjoyed hearing the Tim Gunn interview. “There is no population that is worse dressed than academics.” Ha! Made me think of some, but not all, university faculty that I’ve known throughout the years.
