One Room Challenge

The Spring 2016 One Room Challenge

The One Room Challenge takes place each spring, and again in the fall. Twenty design bloggers participate, making over one room from start to finish and sharing their progress every Wednesday for six weeks. I’ve loved following along with it as a reader, and I’m so excited to tell you that I’ll be taking part in this next round! It all starts on Wednesday, April 6.

One Room Challenge

Decorating projects in this house have been held up by the rewiring process, and I’ll have a post for you next week all about the status of the electrical work. There’s a lot of damage to address, but once the walls are buttoned back up it will finally be time to get going on a few rooms that have been waiting for us, including the space I’ll be doing for the One Room Challenge. (Any guesses?)

p.s. If this sounds like the kind of thing that would motivate you to work on a room of your own, join in as a guest participant! Everyone is invited to share their progress each Thursday, and people take on projects big and small. Let me know if you’ll be working on a room so I can keep an eye out for you!

I’m joining in this year – nothing like a deadline to get my arse in gear and get decorating! Can’t wait to see what you do :)

Excellent! I look forward to your project. Unfortunately I need a “Finish the Last 2 Boring-But-Problematic Details in Every Room” Challenge. Is that a thing?

I’m crossing my fingers for the kitchen, but I guess that’d entail too much work for a challenge like this? I’d love to join in myself but we’re moving in a couple of months so it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to overhaul a room right now. I hope to in the fall, though!
