My suitcase is packed (yes, it’s pink) and I’m ready to head out to the Altitude Design Summit. I’ll be speaking on the first panel, How to Find the Best Design Sites, along with Allison Czarnecki of Petit Elefant, Jaime Derringer of Design Milk, and Karey Mackin of Mackin Ink.
I can’t wait to meet my fellow panel members and all of the other design bloggers that will be attending. Have you seen the list of speakers? It’s going to be amazing!

January 22, 2010 at 6:52 amHey Nicole,
hope that all went well for you on the panel. i found out over at Petit Elefant that my new little blog made it to the “Next Big Thing” list – i’m totally gobsmacked.
I’ve been a silent reader of blogs for years, including the your amazing blog. I never left a comment because i always thought “what can i add that will make a difference”, so now to have come 360 and started my own blog and have it acknowledged like this is dream material.
thanks so much and hope you had a fabulous time at ALT!

October 11, 2010 at 8:25 am[…] love my little pink suitcase, but I’ve been flirting with some other luggage lately. Clearly I’m not the sort […]

October 12, 2010 at 7:14 pmI love your little pink suitcase – but find that luggage that has to travel via an airport needs to be sturdy and practical. We have black luggage but can easily identify it with the ribbon we have put on the handles. I use a pale green ribbon, my daughter has pink lace.
Pretty luggage is great for a car trip adventure – when you are the one handling it, but if you start to do the airport conference circuit in earnest,I’d go for a dark color that can be wiped clean and doesn’t pain you when it gets scratched.
