I mentioned the upcoming line on my twitter and facebook pages, but I requested more information and received new images of the upcoming Liberty of London collection for Target. Doesn’t everything look adorable? I must have that bike.
The collection will be in stores and online March 14. You can grab five desktop or phone wallpaper patterns to add a little prettiness to your day now though!

February 23, 2010 at 10:49 amI love how they have integrated trendy florals into these various pieces. THanks for sharing!!

February 23, 2010 at 10:56 amI love the bike too! I’ve also seen it with a blue pattern as well, but of course pink is your color. I’m hoping I’ll have better luck getting my hands on some of the Liberty items than I did with the Orla Kiely line. And hopefully the launch of the Liberty line won’t be as buggy as their launch of the Orla Kiely line either. :)

February 23, 2010 at 10:58 amI LOVE the bowls and mugs! Can’t wait to see what my local stores get!

February 23, 2010 at 11:00 amthose things are all so gorgeous!!! thank you for the sneak peak. i love when Target has a great designer working for them to bring those of us who usually can’t afford something by that designer in the real world. Not all of the designers offer items i fall in love with, but sometimes (like when Libertine did a clothing line!!!) i fall head over heels!

February 23, 2010 at 11:04 amGorgeous! I wiiiiish that we had Target here in Canada! I get so jealous everytime a designer does a line there. Perhaps it’s time I made a shopping trip down south!

February 23, 2010 at 11:39 amThank you for thinking to ask for more info! What a nice layout you did. Those items aren’t my personal taste; but I welcome something new and different all the same.

February 23, 2010 at 11:42 amObsessed with accent pillows these days and not just because I made my first one! Nope, I love them because they are like little canvases that I can move around the room, swap out with other designs, and mix and match. How playful they are – just like LoL’s.

February 23, 2010 at 11:55 amThanks so much for following up on this! I was just searching the Target website today for some kind of clue as to when and where I could find all these darling things. I love the pillows, the bowls and the crib bedding. I think it’s the orange, I’m always gravitating toward orange.

February 23, 2010 at 11:56 amI love all of it but fear that it will be dated in a few years time. I’m still going to buy a few of those pillows and bowls, though!

February 23, 2010 at 12:01 pmI love the peacock pattern. I’m so excited to see what they will offer.

February 23, 2010 at 12:03 pmAffordable Liberty of London! Hooray! I was at the Gap last evening with my daughter, and they have some muted floral blouses that are ringers for the LoL look. If I were thinner …. they would be mine!

February 23, 2010 at 12:31 pmI was SO excited to see the commercial a few days ago! I have actually been thinking of purchasing some of their fabric for a pillow in my bedroom but it looks as though I might be able to get a better price and avoid shipping charges. Thank you TARGET!!

February 23, 2010 at 12:44 pmI’m actually just back from on a weekend break in London and spent most of Friday afternoon in Liberty, swooning at pretty much everything! It’s such a gorgeous store, easily my favourite in London.
This stuff is lovely, I especially like the bowls.

February 23, 2010 at 1:59 pmI can’t wait to see it in the stores! My once a week habit may be kicked up a notch to twice a week just to coo over the fun pretty things. I will be first in line for the bike. I may even take it out for a spin…or just park it in the living room to admire!
Thank you for sharing! (My husband is not thanking you as now our budget is blown!)

February 23, 2010 at 2:35 pmThis is so pretty! Love the bicycle!
OT (bcse I’m not on twitter), but relating to gardens: my favorite evergreen, if you have space for it (6-7 ft tall) is Leatherleaf Viburnum. Evergreen, red berries in the spring that turn shiny black in the fall & the birds love them! Actually, I like many viburnums—like “Snowball” and “Korean Spice” (with pink-tinted flowers, I think). Check with your local nursery, or go to the Morton Arboretum and look around on a warm spring day. :)

February 23, 2010 at 2:41 pmI’m hoping there’s a baby-boy crib set…. Just found out we’re having a boy, and have had a heck of a time finding crib bedding that doesn’t suck.

February 23, 2010 at 3:22 pmI’ve got a challenge for ya! You should totally do a “look” post for a gender neutral nursery..For those that aren’t going to find out until the baby is born. : ) Love your blog!!

February 24, 2010 at 2:28 am*Umpf…* I hate every single Target-Post. I´m not even able to buy there- they do´nt deliver to germany. Where is this damn globalism, when you need it? ;-)
The lace-basket would fit perfect to this bike.
greetings!

February 24, 2010 at 9:10 amThat is the exact crib bedding I was searching for everywhere when I was pregnant 20 months ago. It’s so hard to find bright colors for girls that’s not so baby-ish.

March 2, 2010 at 1:30 pmOMG!!! I’ve seen that pattern @ Target in the seasonal advertizements! I’ve loved it from the moment I saw it and said to my husband “now if only they had THAT pattern of dishes for sale I’d buy it” the pillow is completely lovely.

March 10, 2010 at 12:18 pm[…] Liberty of London Bicycle […]
Amanda
March 11, 2010 at 11:43 amHi ladies, the Liberty bike is really cute, and I hate to be a nay-sayer, but I’d advise to think on it before ordering it, especially without a test-ride. My husband and I rode cheapie Target bikes at a summer rental home, and they were so poorly designed that we were both really uncomfortable after only a short bike ride.
I’m a regular bike commuter and I love seeing more women get into cycling. I’d hate for someone to get a cute but uncomfortable bike any possibly avoid cycling because of it.
Electra Bicycles makes some great cruisers (including a gorgeous line with illustrations by Alexander Girard). I love my Electra Amsterdam and highly recommend it to friends.

September 24, 2011 at 1:15 pmHi Ladies,
I realize this post is old, but I wanted to let everyone know that I have both the Liberty of London and Missoni bikes on sale on eBay right now — just in case you missed them in the stores! Thanks, and happy Target shopping :)
