Jess’ Guesthouse Hotel lobby design is finished!
Loving those stacked vintage trunks. So brilliant for a hotel. -
It’s sold out right now, but we’ll be ordering this new LEGO set for the kiddos as soon as it becomes available again.
-
You’ve seen the new Penguin Modern Classic cover for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by now, yes? I like it.
They’re targeting adults with this version — not kids. -
Remember the hip-hop vocabulary chart? It’s back, expanded and improved, and available as a rad print.

Yes, yes, yes to Jaime’s new guestroom. Especially to that wallpaper.

A few bloggers have tackled this DIY Brass Flush Mount Light with fantastic results. Changing the finish makes such a difference!

August 8, 2014 at 5:13 pmI’m hopeful that one day soon Lego coming out with a female scientist set won’t be a story. But until then, it’s the right direction. :]

August 11, 2014 at 1:51 pmThe Guest House is seriously stunning, although as an interior design student it makes me cringe to see people w/o a degree in interior design calling themselves a designer (as she does in that blog post). They can get in major trouble with the state licensing board and it’s a huuuuuge liability to do commercial spaces. If you don’t use furniture/ fabric/ finishes that are up to code, the person who picked it out will get sued in a hot second if there is a fire/ someone slips because flooring without the proper slip resistance, etc etc. (Sorry to be a debbie downer. Rant over.)
